Living With The Lions Sports Travel was created in 2000 by Patrick Arnold to take a tour group of ‘like-minded’ rugby fans to the Australian Lions tour of 2001. Patrick traded currencies in the city for almost 12 years before moving into the travel industry, and was part of the inaugural Barmy Army tour of Australia in ’94/95 which was where he got the idea to set up his own Sports Travel company.
The first Lions tour to Australia in 2001 was a huge success and since then the company has run tailor-made sports supporter tours to rugby, cricket and golf venues all over the world. Over the past 12 years, Living With The Lions has grown and diversified; we now also offer school and club tours and have a dedicated team working with a number schools and clubs, both in the UK and worldwide; offering quality tailored-made sports tours to suit a variety of disciplines and abilities.
Living With The Lions organised its first school tour in 2007. Since that time we have gone from strength to strength, and now are in touch with many of the large touring institutions in the UK. We currently boast a team of four experienced team members who are solely dedicated to the schools and clubs market. Each member of staff within the schools and clubs department has come to Living With The Lions from some of our bigger, more well-known competitors, with the shared desire to move away from large and impersonal companies to a more bespoke type of touring experience for our clients.
Living With The Lions has recently opened a second office in Gloucestershire where the schools team are based. It goes without saying that we continually strive to deliver the highest level of service and quality of tour that all of our clients have become accustomed to.
