As well as taking British sides overseas, we arrange tours for orchestras, choirs and sports teams that want to come over to the UK & Europe to tour. As with our overseas tours, we can make arrangements for the entire trip to include travel, accommodation, sightseeing and the all-important concerts for choirs & orchestras and match fixtures for sports teams.
For our musical tours, the history, splendid architecture and many magnificent venues in the UK all combine to provide overseas choirs & orchestras with a truly unique tour steeped in culture. We can offer you a tour to suit any style of performance, intermingled with a range of interesting scenery, sightseeing and experiences.
For sports group the history and venues available throughout the UK give overseas visitors a completely unique and varied experience. From the rugger fields of Wellington College to the passionate rugby clubs of South Wales for example, we can match your standard to each opponent and provide an unforgettable tour around the British Isles.
In terms of destination a trip to the UK can include a tour around four nations – England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each destination has its own distinct culture and sights. In terms of sport they all offer good competitive games and the same variety of sports.
In England sightseeing opportunities are endless. Visit Twickenham, Lords or Wimbledon as well as all the sights in London. Take in a West End Show. Spend a day in the historic city of Bath, Cambridge or Stratford Upon Avon or have a day out at one of the Theme Parks such as Thorpe Park or Alton Towers. Historical venues such as Warwick Castle, Stonehenge, & the picturesque pubs & villages of the Cotswolds always attract our overseas groups – as does a trip down to the beautiful fishing villages & beaches of Cornwall. Northern Ireland is popular for visiting the wild beaches of Portrush with golf, the Giants Causeway and some great history at the Titanic Museum or on a black cab tour of Belfast. Scotland combines the great cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow with superb hosting and the stunning scenery of the Highlands and the legendary Welsh hospitality should not be missed along with a trip to Cardiff, the beaches of the Gower and a trip down the Big Pit.
Many overseas teams combine a trip to the UK with Ireland or a few days in Paris, Amsterdam or Brussels from London on the Eurostar. See our European section for further information on sports available over on the continent. Contact Living With The Lions on firstname.lastname@example.org for a quote.
If you are a UK club or school and would welcome the opportunity to host an overseas touring side then please do let us know. For sports tours this usually involves playing a fixture followed by an after-match function. As well as the match, there is also the possibility to offer home stays to the touring side.

Really happy with the services we were provided from start to finish, as soon as we stepped on to the coach we were looked after brilliantly and the basketball and Warriors game were a great a experience for the boys. Would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of doing a similar trip!
RAY PARK – St Margaret Mary’s College (Australia) Tour to the UK, September 2015
I have had the pleasure of working with Jo from ‘Living with the Lions Sports Travel’ on two occasions, 2013 and 2015, when she expertly organised the UK component of our international sporting tours from Australia. Jo’s understanding of our requirements was clearly evident on both tours. The schools that we visited for fixtures and for billeting were outstanding. The suggested places to visit, things to do and informational tours were also exceptional. Jo’s attention to detail and providing support to me as tour leader whilst in the UK were invaluable. I thoroughly recommend ‘Living with the Lions Sports Travel’ to anyone thinking of organising an international sporting tour. I will most certainly be utilising the services of this company again when we return in 2017.

Just a quick email to say a massive thank you for all your organisation that went in to the Belfast trip. It was a fantastic experience for the boys and a perfect mix of competitive sporting fixtures, culture and fun! The itinerary kept us busy and allowed us to maximise the opportunities available. Belfast is a perfect location for this mini-tour and the schools that hosted us were brilliant!
