It is perfect for a combination of warm weather training and competitive fixtures so if you are looking for a destination for a training camp, it certainly fits the bill.
Only a seven hour flight from the UK with a four hour time difference it is a safe, affordable and accessible option.
As the number of ex-pats grows, so do the number of excellent international schools in Dubai that have the facilities and numbers to provide a high standard of opposition. Cricket is the most popular sport (the ICC headquarters are based there), but rugby is fast growing in popularity. We can also arrange tours for the girls sports such as hockey, netball & tennis. Dubai lends itself well to a multisport tour easily combining cricket, rugby, hockey or netball in the same visit.
The best time to tour is during the northern hemisphere winter, with the October & February half terms and Christmas holidays being the optimum times.
Dubai also offers some interesting sightseeing opportunities. Go sand boarding, on a jeep safari or on a camel trip into the desert; climb the world’s tallest building, visit the souks, take a river cruise or spend the day in the superb Aquaventure water park.
