Malta is renowned as a tourist destination, with numerous recreational areas, historical monuments and attractive beaches. It is small enough to travel around easily but has plenty to keep you busy.
The Maltese Islands have a sunny climate with a daily average of around 12 hours sunshine in summer going down to 5 to 6 hours in mid-winter. Easter and/or October are good times to tour to Malta. The sports are similar to the UK seasons with rugby, cricket, hockey, netball and football all possible.
English is widely spoken and all groups are made to feel very welcome.
History, culture, beaches and a warm & sunny climate all combine to create a popular sports tour – only a three hour flight from the UK.
