Malaysia is a destination that offers a variety of scenery, cultures and cuisine as well as some very competitive fixtures. It is a multi-cultural country where people of different races and religions live side by side.
Hockey, netball & football are available at all levels pretty much all year round. Cricket & rugby too are possibilities but are slightly more limited with regard to age groups and abilities. The facilities are superb and hockey in particular is played at some stunning venues.
Many schools combine a tour to Malaysia with Singapore or even a triangular tour with Sri Lanka. Others stop over on the way down to Australia or New Zealand.
The variety of the country means that a tour to Malaysia can begin in the buzzling metropolis of Kuala Lumpur with all the sights, shops and variety that you would expect from a capital city. Moving north, for example you can incorporate a stay in the tea plantations, visit an elephant sanctuary, see Orang Utans in their natural environment and visit the golden beaches of the island of Penang. Moving south you can journey through the country and end your tour in Singapore.
The possibilities are endless & you will be sure to return enthralled and inspired from a tour to this exciting & vibrant country.

quote4 - MalaysiaThe pre tour preparation and attention to detail was second to none and this included getting visas for over 40 people and helping to prepare our risk assessments. The company also came to school about 6 months before our departure to answer both my questions and those of the parents. Due to circumstances beyond my control some of our boys had to pull out about 3 months before departure due to England call ups and the company took this in their stride and helped me organise replacements and all the complications that arose from this. The tour itself went like clockwork and a lot of time had gone into getting the correct fixtures for us and both the billeting and the hotels were first class. The whole trip went without a hitch and I would thoroughly recommend Living with the Lions to any school wishing to organise a tour of any sort.”

quote4 - MalaysiaA fantastic tour with a brilliant and supportive tour company.”
