Brittany's largest town, Nantes is the capital of the beatiful Pays-de-la-Loire region. Located on the largest of three islands in the Loire and near the Atlantic coast. It is blessed with excellent museums, golden beaches and many terrific seafood restaurants where fine wines suchas Muscadet provide the perfect accompaniment for sea-fresh oysters. Nantes is home to the La Beaujoire Stadium which was built in 1984 seating 38,285 people and is situated in a peacefull suburban area with a few great drinking spots nearby.
