Passports & Visas:
Full Passport required and must be valid for duration of your stay, although we do recommend that you ensure your passport has at least 6 months validity after your return from Australia. Visas ARE REQUIRED for visits to Australia for all except Australian/New Zealand passport holders. Living With The Lions will obtain these electronically for you if you are a British Passport holder. Anyone who does not hold a British Passport may have to arrange their own visas by contacting the Australian High Commission in London. Please check with us first.
Health:
No vaccination certificates are required for travel to Australia (unless entering from an area infected with Yellow Fever). However, immunisation against tetanus and polio is recommended. See Health Advice leaflet for further details or consult your GP for individual advice. A reciprocal health agreement for urgent medical treatment exists with the United Kingdom. Hygiene standards are generally high and tap water is safe to drink.
