PATRICK ARNOLD - MANAGING DIRECTOR
I play cricket, rugby and hockey mainly for Wimbledon and recently 5 a side football for Boca Seniors! I have always loved all sports and used to organise all the club tours at university. When I started working for HSBC in London I got into watching England cricket overseas and sadly was there when the Barmy Army launched in 1994/5. Following further trips to South Africa and the West Indies I then got to play cricket in South Africa for my club and Croatia and Austria with the MCC. This experience pushed me toward starting Living With The Lions in 2001 and now, here we are today! What makes us different? We are still just a small team but every person here loves the sports that we follow and adds their own personality and enthusiasm to each trip that we run. I have been married to Sarah for 5 years and we have two small children, Freddie and Hana. |

BRETT LINGLEY - OPERATIONS MANAGER
Having grown up in Durban, South Africa I am a massive Natal Sharks rugby supporter and have adopted Bath as my UK side since we started doing their supporters tours in 2004. I love all sports and have competed at a provincial level for bodyboarding, swimming and tennis. I have a passion for travel and since joining LWTL more than 6 years ago have been fortunate enough to host tours to New Zealand, Australia, West Indies, South Africa, France, Ireland and Italy with my favourite cities being Sydney, Cape Town and Treviso. The highlight of my career was the 1st test between South Africa & The British Lions in Durban in June 2009, sitting amongst so many Lions supporters was just totally surreal… |

JOANNE OVERY - GROUPS & FIT MANAGER
My interests are skiing, running and recently have learnt to climb! I love the outdoors and I am often away on camping trips in North Wales, trekking up some mountain or other – this summer I will be climbing them hopefully! I have been in the travel industry since leaving college and joined Living With The Lions nearly 4 years ago. Before joining the company my knowledge of Cricket and Rugby was limited and I will be honest it is not a lot better now but I love going to both events and soaking up the atmosphere. I am very enthusiastic spectator! My passion for Australia is immense and I am very excited and looking forward to our forthcoming Ashes tour! |

RACHEL BARBER - CLUBS & SCHOOLS
Having been brought up in Gloucester, it was quite hard to avoid rugby, particularly as I went to Kingsholm Primary School. After studying French and Italian, I worked for a French tour operator before joining Gullivers Sports Travel in 1994. During my time there I worked on many rugby and cricket tours and have been fortunate to travel the world with my job. Career highlight? Jonny's drop goal in Sydney - of course! After a year in Wellington, New Zealand for a year working on RWC2011 I returned to London to commence my career here at LWTL last year. Day to day my role involves working on the Clubs & Schools tours as well as the Ashes Tour to Australia! I still return to the West Country at weekends with my partner and play hockey & tennis more in a social than serious capacity. I enjoy running and regularly compete in 10km and half marathons to keep fit. |

DAVID BULMER - CORPORATE HOSPITALITY
Sport has always been my real passion in life with a particular love of cricket, football, boxing and tennis. I gave up playing a decent standard of football aged 30 to play on the 8 Ball Pool tour, I represented Surrey until a few years ago and still play to a national level now. I had been in recruitment for many years and met the team here through my previous role working for a sports recruitment company, I then joined Living With The Lions in 2009 and love the idea that I talk about sport all day for a living. I have two sons Charlie and Alfie who are old enough to compete with their Dad now and this has made me realise I am no longer 21 years old – How depressing!! Favourite sporting moment ever – that’s easy - Michael Thomas, 30 seconds to go, Anfield 1989 when I actually was 21 years old – happy days indeed!!! |
