LIVING WITH THE LIONS CLUBS & SCHOOLS TEAM?

1 RACHEL BARBER - CLUBS & SCHOOLS
I have worked in the sports travel industry for most of my career. Having studied French and Italian at Bath I put my language skills to good use first for Gullivers Sports Travel, who I joined in 1994 and worked for 13 years on tours all over the World. Having coordinated the hotel bookings for the Rugby World Cup in France in 2007, I then spent a year working on the Rugby World Cup accommodation set up for Williment Travel in New Zealand in 2008. I made the move back to London and joined LWTL in January 2009 and now work day to day on the Club & School Tours. I am based predominantly in Gloucestershire and split my time between the two offices and visiting clubs and schools all over the country. I consider myself very fortunate to have travelled the world with my job and have hosted tours to South Africa, the West Indies, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China & many more. A keen sports fan I enjoy watching Test cricket and supporting Gloucester Rugby. Having played club hockey until recently, I now prefer tennis and running, competing regularly in 10ks & half marathons.

1 TOM SELLERS - CLUBS & SCHOOLS
I have been involved in sport from an early age, it was hard to avoid with both parents teaching PE.  I have played Rugby for as long as I can remember for clubs such as Clifton, Bristol, Exeter chiefs and Sutton & Epsom.  I have a real passion for sport which has sculpted my professional life to date, sport really has become a way of life for me.  After a degree in Sport and Exercise science on St Lukes at the University of Exeter I moved to London to work for Edwin Doran Sports Tours where I learnt my trade in organising sports tours for schools and clubs.  I started at Living With The Lions in September 2010 to apply this experience to a more personalised model of touring aiming to provide the best sports tours available in the market.  I am also very keen on my alpine sports but a recent knee operation has put pay to that for a while.

1 CERYN FISK - CLUBS & SCHOOLS
I have been involved in the sporting industry for the past fourteen years, taking roles in servicing both governing bodies and supporters. Working for Inspiresport, we focused on football development programmes for students encouraging me to follow the sport more and understand the needs of tours for the round ball. I have also worked with the Welsh Rugby Union, mainly dealing with the organisation of the national squads. I am really looking forward to using my experience in the sports industry to co-coordinate school and club tours. This is something I enjoy very much, especially as I believe that we offer a high standard of product to our clients. I am a keen runner and support Welsh rugby alongside my partner, ex international scrum half Robert Jones who is a tour celebrity and friend of Living With The Lions Sports Travel.

1 JOHN BRENNAN
SCHOOLS MUSIC CONSULTANT
I have been so fortunate to be involved in so much of Oxfords vast and varied musical life. I am organist and choirmaster at Greyfriars Church and have organised many tours for choirs and musicians in the past 21 years. Also, I am president of the Oxford Organists Association and through Positif Press I publish a number of books and journals on the organ and its music.

MEET THE REST OF THE LWTL TEAM

1
Patrick Arnold - Managing Director
Patrick started Living With The Lions in 2000 in order to follow his passion for sport.  Whilst working for HSBC in London he got into watching England cricket overseas and was in Australia when the Barmy Army launched in 1994/5. Following further trips to South Africa and the West Indies he got to play cricket in South Africa for his club and Croatia and Austria with the MCC. This experience pushed him toward starting Living With The Lions and now, here we are today! He feels that we are different as we are a small team where everyone loves their sport and their dedication and enthusiasm give personality to each tour that they run.

Joanne Overy - Operations Director
My interests are skiing, running, cooking & entertaining and more recently I have learnt to climb!  I love the outdoors and I am often away on camping trips and trekking up some mountain or other! I have been in the travel industry since leaving college and joined Living With The Lions just over 5 years ago.  Before joining the company my knowledge of Cricket and Rugby was limited and to be honest it is not a lot better now but I love going to both events and soaking up the atmosphere. My aim is to make sure that our tours run smoothly and that everyone is having a great time. My passion for Australia is immense and having recently returned from the victorious Ashes tour I am already looking forward to our next Lions tour down under in 2013!

David Bulmer - Sales Manager
Sport has always been David’s passion in life and he has a particular love of cricket, football, boxing and tennis. He gave up playing a decent standard of football aged 30 to play on the 8 Ball Pool tour & represented Surrey until a few years ago and still plays to a national level now. Having worked in recruitment for many years he joined Living With The Lions in 2009 and loves the idea that he can talk about sport all day for a living. He likes nothing more than watching (and talking) about sport. See if you can catch him out with your trivia - his knowledge is extensive.

1
Brett Lingley - Marketing Manager
Having grown up in Durban, South Africa, Brett struggles to hide the fact that he is a massive Natal Sharks & Springbok supporter. Big enough to play for the Natal Sharks, he loves all sports and has competed at a provincial level for body boarding, swimming and tennis. Since joining LWTL more than 7 years ago he has been fortunate enough to host tours to New Zealand, Australia, West Indies, South Africa, France, Ireland and Italy with his favourite cities being Sydney, Cape Town and Treviso.

Collette Alexander - Accounts
I am learning fast about cricket and rugby but athletics and tennis are my games, plus I am looking forward to beating David at badminton sometime soon!
