The global game and played by more people and school students than any other sport in the world, you have a huge choice when it comes to touring with your football team. The european nations obviously provide great opposition and school sports tours can be coordinated with the national season to see some fantastic football being played live. Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Holland & Ireland all provide great european opponents and internationally football tours can be arranged for both sexes to Canada, the US, the Caribbean and of course the fanatical nations of South America. The one destination though that stands out for a tour in 2010 is South Africa, the first African host of the World Cup and we have teamed up with our ground agent in South Africa to offer UK school sides something a little special. Travel to South Africa in early June and combine a playing tournament with some of the World Cup games following the below itinerary.

LWTL FOOTBALL WORLD CUP PLAYING TOUR (SOUTH AFRICA)

June 2010
Mon 21st - Arrive at Johannesburg Airport, where you will be met and transferred to the High Performance Centre at the University of Pretoria for 5 nights accommodation

Tue 22nd - Return transfer to the Lion Park for a guided game drive.
Evening transfer to a Soccer World Cup match

Wed 23rd - Transfer to Soweto for a half day guided tour, including a visit to the Nelson Mandela Museum
Match Day One vs local school/club. Return match transfer and aftermatch function

Thu 24th - Transfer to Hartebeespoort Dam Elephant Sanctuary. Evening transfer to Soccer World Cup match

Fri 25th - Transfer to Gold Reef City for a half day excursion
Match Day Two vs local school/club (To Be Confirmed). Return match transfer and aftermatch function

Sat 26th -Transfer, by coach, to Durban. Check into local school’s hostels for 4 nights accommodation

Sun 27th -Transfer to Tala Game Reserve for a guided game drive

Mon 28th - Transfer to Phezulu Cultural Village for a guided tour and lunch. Evening transfer to a Soccer World Cup match

Tue 29th - Match Day Three vs local school/club (To Be Confirmed). Return match transfer and aftermatch function

Wed 30th - Transfer to Durban Airport for flight to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met and transferred to local school’s hostels for 6 nights accommodation

July 2010
Thu 1st - Day One of the Invitational Schools Soccer Tournament
Return transfer to venues

Fri 2nd - Full day Peninsula Tour which includes the transfer, guide, return trip up Table Mountain in the aerial cable car (weather permitting), boat cruise from Hout Bay Harbour to Seal Island, entrance to the picturesque Chapmans Peak drive, entrance to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, a one way ride on the funicular to enjoy the view of Cape Point; a set menu three course lunch in Simonstown and a visit to Boulders Beach to see the penguin colony. Return to your accommodation in the late afternoon
Watch a World Cup match on TV

Sat 3rd - Day Two of the Invitational Schools Soccer Tournament. Return transfer to venues

Sun 4th - Day Three of the Invitational Schools Soccer Tournament. Return transfer to venues

Mon 5th - Transfer to the V&A Waterfront for your Robben Island tour. Rest of the day free for last minute shopping in the Waterfront.

Tue 6th - Transfer to Cape Town International Airport for homeward flight
