New member of staff at LWTL

Our newest recruit Rachel Barber joins us after making the move to London after a long career in sports travel, first with Gullivers Sports Travel and then Williment Travel in New Zealand. Rachel brings her extensive experience to the team, having organized and led tours for Gullivers since 1994. She has worked on numerous cricket tours, to include four Ashes tours to Australia as well as numerous trips to South Africa, Zimbabwe, the West Indies, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
On the rugby side, a keen Gloucester fan, Rachel will be bringing a West Country bias to the team and looks forward to plenty of banter in the bar with the support of our Welsh and West Country contingent.
Having worked on four separate Rugby World Cups, many Sevens trips to Dubai & Hong Kong and three previous Lions tours we are sure that Rachel’s knowledge and experience will be of great advantage to us all on tour. After leaving Gullivers Sports Travel she completed a years contract for Williment Travel in New Zealand working on the official accommodation bank for the forthcoming Rugby World Cup in 2011. No doubt we will be calling on this expertise in the future and wish her a very warm welcome to the Living with the Lions team.
